Gailey Consulting Inc. has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: www.gaileyconsulting.com
We collect information from website visitors who must register for certain events on-line, from users who agree to participate in online surveys and from users who wish to make certain online information requests to us. The type of information so requested or collected by us includes user contact information (like their name and e-mail address). The visitor's contact information may be used to contact the visitor when the visitor has expressed interest in being contacted. We do track and record IP addresses that access our site for reporting and profiling purposes only. We also gather anonymous browsing habits of our visitors to better identify content preferences. Our site does not require the use of cookies; therefore they are not created or collected on any page throughout the site. We also share user information with governmental authorities when legally required to do so, and cooperate with such authorities investigating claims of illegal activity such as (but not limited to) illegal transfer of copyrighted material, or user website postings or email messages that contain threats of violence. Other than these specific exceptions noted, we do not sell, rent or provide access to any data collected about or from our users.
On-line Registration
We request information from the user on our on-line registration form. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to confirm registration for paying events. If we have trouble processing a registration, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.
We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for registration. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

This site takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.
When our registration form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and expiry date) that information is encrypted and is protected with SSL. While on a secure page, such as the registration form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just "surfing".
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information offline. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
