Robert J. Gailey, B.S., PMP, ITIL CSM

My university training, first at Carnegie-Mellon University, and later at the University of Wisconsin in Madison yielded a B.S. Degree in Physics in 1974. First Job: building particle accelerators for research use with the National Electrostatics Corporation in Madison, Wisconsin. My involvement with IT began with the microcomputer revolution in the early 80’s and soon found myself in New York City as an independent consultant, designing applications for corporate customers on this new platform.

Following moves from New York, to Boston, then to Halifax, Nova Scotia, I have worked to bring practical innovation to many organizations; bringing together the people, processes and technology required to spark positive change. Unlocking the wealth of organizations can often be accomplished with a realignment of assets already present and usually involves simplifying the work people do, rather than introducing more complexity.

Marrying the needs of business with the capabilities of technology has been my focus from the start and remains so today. As my ability to model requirements and solutions has evolved, so has the capacity for skillful communication required for success on the enterprise level.

For more information about experience with specific clients or technologies, you can refer to my detailed resume (available on request).
